Makedonski Telekom is introducing a new generation of digital television - MagentaTV, an innovative TV platform which offers a completely new, modern TV experience in line with the modern habits and interests of the customers. The new television is available anytime and anywhere and on all screens, with a high-quality picture and sound, a modern interactive interface, access to apps from Google Play Store, a TV library, a video library, a video club, recording, pausing, rewinding and many other advanced options.

"MagentaTV is not only a new name, but it is also evolution in television, which is a response to the new digital era and the new interests of the customers. We started the story of interactive television in 2008 and we have been constantly adding new functionalities, by means of which throughout the years we redefined classic television. However, MagentaTV is much more than a new functionality; it is a completely new story, in which one spot provides access to numerous applications, with a possibility of watching content wherever you want, whenever you want and on whichever device you want." - said Emilija Andonovska, the Chief Commercial Officer B2C.

Every TV set becomes smart

MagentaTV is the most modern technological cloud-based solution, with a new device (MagentaTV Box) and a Bluetooth remote control with voice commands. With MagentaTV every TV set becomes smart by means of numerous apps available in Google Play Store, but also by means of pre-installed apps such as: YouTube, HBO Max, GLEY. In addition, there is a possibility for voice browsing through the contents by means of Google Assistant. Thus, all the TV contents and streaming services are provided in a single spot, available through a modern interface.

Always, everywhere and on all screens

You may watch your favourite content no matter where you are: on your computer and laptop or on your smart phone and tablet while on the go, via the MagentaTV Go app. Furthermore, you can start watching on one device, then pause and continue watching the same content on another device. In this way, your favourite contents are not reserved only for your living-room, but you can watch them wherever and whenever it is suitable for you.

A sustainable solution for environmental protection

MagentaTV Box is made of recycled and biodegradable plastic with a packaging made of degradable natural materials, which contributes for the protection of the environment. It bears the Green Magenta designation, which is used in the Deutsche Telekom Group for products and initiatives that bring a positive change for the reduction of climate change and a responsible use of resources.

MagentaTV is a part of the new Magenta 1 portfolio which will also include unlimited 5G mobile internet, roaming internet, increased fiber optic speed and many other novelties.
