82 students were recognised for their creativity and oral expression skills at the 2nd National Vlog Competition for Primary School Students ("我们是小网红"全国小学生短视频制作比赛). Guest-of-Honour Ms Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State for Education and Chairperson of the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL), delivered a speech and presented awards to the winning teams at the Awards Ceremony.

2Jointly organised by the CPCLL and the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language, the competition aims to enhance the oral expression skills of primary school students and nurture in them a love for the Chinese language.

3The competition received enthusiastic responses from 350 participants across 39 schools. Contestants were required to form groups of up to five members to produce a three-minute video on the competition's theme, "Singapore Chinese Culture". The winning entries displayed immense creativity in their writing and execution, with Catholic High School (Primary) students' entry 《雄狮少年》 clinching first place for its portrayal of an Arab prince and his classmate's discovery of the local lion dance scene, while CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School (Primary) students' winning entry 《融合》 showcased how the Chinese language in Singapore has changed over the years.
