CHP Changes & Inland Port GoLink
Greetings Housing Policy Task Force Members!
The Department of Housing & Neighborhood Revitalization team is hoping you will join us on Thursday, June 17, between 1 PM and 2:30 PM for a discussion regarding proposed changes to the Comprehensive Housing Policy for the Home Improvement & Preservation Program (HIPP).
This meeting will provide a brief background and history of the HIPP program, an overview of its current policies, and the proposed amendments. We will share why we are seeking amendments and how this will impact the program operations.
Additionally, we have added a presentation on the Inland Port GoLink ride service across the Southern Dallas County. This demonstration will include an outline of the Inland Port Ride services, the zones, fares, and benefits of this transportation amenity.
Following the housing staff's presentations, HPTF members will be asked to offer comments or questions on the proposed amendments and the newly available ride service.
