MONDAY, December 16
8:30 a.m. - Special Business Meeting of the La Plata County Palo Verde Public Improvement District #3
The Board will consider:
Approval of Resolution No. PID3R-2024-7 correcting scrivener's errors in Resolution No. PID3R-2024-6 but reaffirming the levy of property taxes for the year 2024 to help defray costs for the 2025 budget year.

Special Business Meeting of the Durango Hills Road Improvement District (immediately following the Palo Verde Public Improvement District #3 meeting)
The Board will consider:
Approval of Resolution No. DHRID-2024-4 correcting scrivener's errors in Resolution No. DHRID-2024-3 Levying Property Taxes for the Year 2024 to help defray costs of the district for the 2025 budget year.

TUESDAY, December 17
8:30 a.m. - Executive Session
Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

1. The purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of real, personal or other property pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(a). Purpose: Disposition of the Old Main Post Office, 1060 Main Avenue, Durango.
2. For purposes of the Board receiving legal advice on specific legal questions pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(b). Purpose: authority and obligations of the County in operation of the jail and acceptance of inmates from other jurisdictions and construction and interpretation of the terms of the 1994 IGA with the City of Durango regarding housing of city offenders; construction of terms of existing/prior agreements related to joint ownership of comms center and 911 services agreement(s).
3. Determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations; developing strategy for negotiations; and instructing negotiators pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(e). Purpose: discussion of IGAs related to both jailing of city offenders and communications center property, communications center building and equipment, 911 services and professional service agreement with HomesFund regarding administration of the La Plata County Employer Assisted Housing Program.

10:00 a.m. - Planning Agenda Meeting
The Board will consider:

1. Approval of Resolution 2024-41 revising the La Plata County Land Use Code Chapter 73 Regarding Setbacks. This is a proposed amendment to Land Use Code Chapter 73, Section 16 that would reduce the setback requirements for Recycling Processing Facilities, Salvage Yards, and Junk Yards.
