H.E. Mariam Al Mheiri, Minister of Climate Change & Environment, (UAE) paid a paid a courtesy call on Minister Dr. Hussain Rasheed Hassan.
Discussions was held regarding the areas of collaboration, investment opportunities and trade of products in both countries.
The Government of Maldives and the Government of the United Arab Emirates signed an Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) to promote cooperation between the two countries in the field of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture and its development and advancement, in order to enhance food security.
The MoU was signed by Minister Dr. Hussain Rasheed Hassan signed on behalf of the Government of Maldives
