Statement regarding vaccination clinics at Perth Airport

Perth Airport is encouraging off-shift FIFO workers looking to get their Covid shots at the new airport Rio Tinto vaccination centres to use the one-hour free parking in its long-term car parks.

The vaccination centres were set up to accommodate FIFO workers who were at the airport to begin their swing and for those returning from on-site.

However, the doors are also open to FIFO workers who are off-shift.

As the centres are located close to the terminals (T2 and T3), within the short-term carparks, there is no free parking option. (This is similar to the situation at the Perth Convention Centre vaccination clinic.)

Off-shift FIFO workers can access one hour of free parking in the long-term car parks and catch the free shuttle bus to have their vaccinations done.

The Rio Tinto centres are available to resource sector workers and are not open to the general public.
