Portion of South 11th Street to Close April 23

Beginning Monday, April 23, South 11th Street between "H" Street and Lincoln Mall will close for an adjacent construction project. The bike lane on South 11th Street will also close. This work is scheduled to be completed in late July. Access to businesses and residents will be maintained and the alley between South 10th and South 11th streets will remain open.

After the project is completed, the northbound lane and bike lane will remain closed until spring 2023 for continued work on the building. The sidewalk on the west side of South 11th Street will remain open.

Digital signs will alert traffic to upcoming work and closures. Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around the work zone. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) appreciates the public's patience during this work. LTU project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
