The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a man wanted in a homicide investigation.

On Saturday, April 6, 2024, at approximately 6:19 a.m., police responded to a call for Echo-Tiered Response in the Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

• there was an altercation between two men in front of a commercial plaza
• one man was stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon during the altercation
• life-saving measures were performed but the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene

Afonso Corpuz, 67, of Toronto, is wanted on a Warrant in the 1^st Instance for:

1. Second Degree Murder

He is described as 5'6", 150 lbs., and has dark hair. His image has been released.

He is considered armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach and call 9-1-1 immediately.
