Appeal After Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Collision, Gomersal

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist suffered potentially serious injuries following a collision in Gomersal last night (5/9).

The collision happened on Oxford Road at 11:19pm and involved a Suzuki SV 650S motorcycle which was travelling south towards Gomersal Cricket Club when it clipped the wing mirror of a Vauxhall Insignia before colliding with the rear of a Citroen C3.

The motorcyclist, a male aged in his 20s, suffered serious head and leg injuries as a result of the collision and was taken to hospital.
