Find fun and furry friends at library pet adoption events

The Fort Worth Public Library is going to the dogs - adoptable ones - at four locations starting in April.

Join us, along with Fort Worth Animal Care & Control, to find a fluffy new family member. Learn tips on caring for your new pet and enjoy other family-friendly activities. All adoption fees are waived and each dog is up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

Only dogs are available for adoption at these upcoming events:

• Noon-4 p.m. Saturday, April 27, Summerglen Branch Library
• Noon-4 p.m. Saturday, May 11, Vivian J. Lincoln Library
• Noon-4 p.m. Saturday, May 18, Diamond Hill/Jarvis Branch Library
• Noon-4 p.m. Saturday, May 25, Meadowbrook Branch Library

Anyone who is ready to adopt a pet is encouraged to attend an event, learn more about pet care and take home their new best friend the same day.
