The Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) is sponsoring an asynchronous communal reading experience about the forthcoming book "Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning." <_o3a_p>

Led by the book's authors, José Antonio Bowen and C. Edward Watson, the four-week "book club" is an opportunity to engage with other faculty and instructors grappling with teaching with AI through an author-facilitated discussion.<_o3a_p>

The collaborative reading experience, which uses the Perusall platform to connect educators around the world, will run from May 13 until June 9 and will provide an opportunity for sharing insights, best practices and innovative approaches to integrating AI into teaching practices.

Participants will be able to engage with the authors, ask questions, and give feedback as they read and will have access to author-created videos and curated resources. The program allows participants to read along at their own pace and use Perusall annotations to join the conversation with the authors and fellow educators about the opportunities and challenges presented by AI in education. After the event is over, participants can consult the book with the annotations created during the event period.<_o3a_p>

Registration for the event is required and must be completed by May 20 to participate. <_o3a_p>
