Weng Zuliang Visits CGCT, a Subsidiary of China Minmetals and Inspe...

On the morning of June 7, Weng Zuliang, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, visited Chengdu Greatwall Cutting Tools Co., Ltd. ("CGCT" for short), controlled by Zigong Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. ("ZCC" for short), a subsidiary of China Tungsten and Hightech Materials Co., Ltd. ("China Tungsten" for short) affiliated to China Minmetals and inspected work safety.

Weng Zuliang first came to the exhibition hall of CGCT, listened to the reports of the CGCT and ZCC on their profile, development orientation, strategic planning, work safety, lean management and Party building, and carefully checked the cemented carbide blades and cutting tools, bars, roll rings, tungsten wires, molybdenum wires and other products. Subsequently, Weng Zuliang conducted on-site investigation on the production lines of mixture, sintering, pressing, grinding, coating and finished product testing in the CNC Blade Factory of CGCT, and inspected work safety with his teams. He also conducted on-site inspections on the execution of safety operation procedures, safety responsibility systems, and emergency responses.

During the investigation, Weng Zuliang had in-depth exchanges with frontline officials and employees on the improvement & management of production process, quality & cost control, work safety, technological innovation, team building of skilled talents and the incentive role of progress index, and gave full recognition to the work of CGCT. He hoped that CGCT would thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and implement the decisions and plans made at the 20th National Congress of the CPC in the specific work. Specifically, he hoped that CGCT would earnestly focus on work safety, constantly improve product quality and reduce production costs, and fully intelligentize its equipment. All these suggestions are to enhance its core competitiveness, and promote its high-quality development.
