Public Notice: Sanitary Sewer Main Repair Will Impact Section of Carleton Street

LAKELAND, FL (APRIL 26, 2024) | Beginning Monday, April 29, 2024, at 7 a.m., the City of Lakeland Wastewater Collection Division will close Carleton Street in order to repair an aging sewer main south of 3224 Carleton Circle East. Detours will be in place to reroute traffic while work is being done on the impacted sewer main. Crews will be on site daily from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. until the repair work has been completed. The project will take about one week with an estimated May 3, 2024, completion date. During the project work hours, Carleton Street will be closed to through traffic. Local traffic will be accommodated so that the residents will be able to access their homes.
