Passing the Administrative Selection, 63 Applicants for the PT Timah Scholarship Class Program at SMAN 1 Pemali Will Continue to the Academic Potential Test

PANGKALPINANG -- A total of 63 students passed the administrative selection for the Scholarship Class for the Pemali Boarding School program at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2024/2025 academic year. The students who graduated came from Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau Islands Province, and Riau Province on Monday (29/4/2024).

The details students who passed the administrative selection for the PT Timah scholarship class at SMAN 1 Pemali were 50 students from Bangka Belitung Islands Province, 10 students from Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province, and three students from Meranti Regency, Riau Province.

Previously, it was known that 211 students had registered for the PT Timah Scholarship Class New Student Admissions (PPDB) program at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2024/2025 academic year after it opened on April 1-25.

Participants who have passed the administrative selection will continue to take the Academic Potential, Psychological Test, Interview, Clinical Psychology, and Document Validation tests which will start on May 13, 2024.

This scholarship class program is intended for students who excel and are economically disadvantaged. So with this education, it is hoped that it will be able to improve the level of education and the family economy.

Apart from that, the Scholarship class program which started in 2000 is an effort by members of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding, PT Timah to improve the quality of human resources in the mining area.

This year, PT Timah accepted 36 students in the Scholarship Class program at SMAN 1 Pemali. Students who graduate will later receive educational facilities and accommodation in a dormitory.
