OPD Seeks Help in Identifying a Person of Interest in a Homicide

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is releasing this sketch and this picture in hopes that the community can help identify a person of interest in a homicide of Damani William that occurred on August 30, 2023.

During the course of the investigation, the suspect's vehicle was determined to be this white Ford F150 pickup truck (pictured above).

Background:

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating a homicide that occurred on August 30, 2023, just after 12:00 AM in the 500 block of East 18th Avenue.
Once on scene, officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel arrived on scene to treat the victims for their injuries. The first victim, an Oakland resident, was pronounced deceased on scene. The second victim, a San Francisco resident, was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
