Amédée Murisier starts as new Head of Switzerland

Amédée Murisier takes over as Head of Alpiq's Switzerland division and becomes a member of the Executive Board on 1 March 2024. He succeeds Michael Wider, who is retiring.

Amédée Murisier has been with Alpiq since 2015 and has been Head of the Hydro Power Generation business unit since 2019. In the video below, he explains how Alpiq is helping to decarbonise our society through its electricity generation and services. He highlights the importance of working together, with our partners and society, to find a way to adapt our energy infrastructures to the needs of the energy transition.
