Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates// The Khiam Massacre in Rafah refutes the occupation's claims of the existence of safe Zones in the Gaza Strip

-The Ministry calls on the countries supporting Israel to awaken their conscience, morals and law in the face of the genocidal war to which our people are exposed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemns the heinous massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces last night, following the targeting of the tents of forcibly displaced people northwest of Rafah, which resulted in dozens of martyrs whose bodies turned into pieces due to the intense bombing and severe burning, in addition to dozens of wounded who lost their limbs, most of them from Children and women. This comes alongside the occupation's targeting of the health system, putting it out of service, and the severe shortage in the entry of necessary medicines and treatments.
The Ministry considers this crime as new evidence proving that Israel's declared war is against Palestinian civilians, and refutes the occupation's claims of the existence of safe zones in the Gaza Strip, in official Israeli disregard for the path of international justice, its orders and decisions, and a clear evidence that an immediate cessation of aggression is the correct approach to protecting civilians.
The Ministry calls on countries that continue to support Israel in its war under flimsy pretexts and excuses to awaken conscience, law and morals in the face of the genocidal war to which our people are being exposed, and to force the occupying state to comply with international law and implement the resolutions of international legitimacy, leading to an end to the Israeli occupation of the land of the State of Palestine, as a strategic approach, which cannot be bypassed to achieve security and stability in the region.
