North Bethesda Camera Club presents “On the Street Where You Live” Exhibit

The City presents "On the Street Where You Live," an exhibition featuring street photography by the North Bethesda Camera Club (NBCC). The exhibit takes place at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park through March 24, 2024.
Street photography is a genre of photography that depicts candid, everyday life in public places. The NBCC has been working on developing this collection of images for more than a year.
The exhibit includes 59 photographs. Artists displaying their work include Janice Solomon, Sarah Salomon, Olaizola Guillermo, Don Picard, Toni Robinson, Judy Ackerman, James Corbett, Beth Altman, Maude Svensson, Saul Pleeter, Stan Collyer, Patricia Bochi, Erico Silva, Peter Winik, Meg Clarke, Robert Barkin, Cherry Wyman, Nikolaos Zacharakis, Tammy Trocki, Robert Mazziotta, Galinia Knopman, Dennis Leister, Mark McDonough, Donald Tobin, Sue Guy, Peter Dunner, Kathryn Mohrman, Bennett Fletcher, Craig Carlson, and Michael Blicher.
The North Bethesda Camera Club was formed in 1965 with the goal of helping both aspiring and established photographers grow and refine their art, and the club has been going strong ever since. It shares information on all types of photography, provides regular educational programs and competitions, and offers a means for members to received helpful feedback from more experienced photographers. NBCC also collaborates with other area camera clubs on larger-scale projects of shared interest. More information is available on the club's website at www.nbccmd.org
