This funding will be utilized for safety and improvement projects on Patriots Cove's eighteen-acre refuge aimed at enhancing the experience of injured and ill veterans, first responders, and their caregivers during therapeutic outdoor activities, environmental service projects, and educational events.
Congressman Meuser said,"In Congress, I am happy to support initiatives like Patriots Cove that offer crucial assistance to our veterans, first responders, and their caregivers in Wyoming County. Patriots Cove has been instrumental in providing these individuals with opportunities to heal and transition back to civilian life through a range of outdoor activities, environmental projects, and educational events. I am grateful to have worked on behalf of Patriots Cove to secure $105,000 to support their mission to serve veterans. These funds will further enhance the facilities and experiences offered to those who have served our country." Co-founder and President of Patriots Cove, Jeff Swire, said, "On behalf of our team and the brave men and women we serve, we are deeply grateful for this much needed support. This financial support will enable us to continue to provide the very best healing environment for our injured, ill, and end of life guests. We acknowledge these funds come for tax paying Americans and we are committed every day to be worthy of the love and support we are blessed to receive. We are also deeply grateful for Congressman Meuser and his entire team for their tireless efforts. Thank you!"
