OSCE Chairman-in-Office Osmani to visit Brussels

VIENNA, 30 January 2023 - The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani, will be in Brussels tomorrow to meet with EU and NATO high-level officials.

This visit is an opportunity to highlight the 2023 Chairpersonship of North Macedonia's priorities and programme for 2023, and strengthen areas for co-operation to ensure sustainable security across the region.

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office Osmani will meet with Josep Borrell, High Representative/Vice-President of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. He will also meet wit Janez Lenarčič, European Commissioner for Crisis Management, in charge of European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid, European Emergency Response Coordinator, Miroslav Lajčák, the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues and other high-level officials.

During his visit to Brussels, Chairman-in-Office Osmani will meet with NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană and will present the Chairpersonship's programme to NATO's North Atlantic Council.
