Coordination of agreements of the President of Ukraine: online meeting with representatives of the military and political leadership of the Netherlands took place in the Office of the President

On behalf of the President of Ukraine and in order to coordinate the implementation of the agreements reached by Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, together with other representatives of the Office and the government, held a scheduled meeting via video conference with the Dutch delegation headed by Geoffrey van Leeuwen, Foreign Affairs and Defense Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Heads of the Presidential Office Roman Mashovets, Ihor Zhovkva, Andriy Sybiha, Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, Deputy Minister of Defense Oleksandr Polishchuk, Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries Serhiy Boyev and others.

The main topic of the conversation was bolstering Ukraine's defense capabilities.

On behalf of the President, Andriy Yermak expressed gratitude for the solidarity and effective, active and extremely important assistance provided by the Netherlands since the first days of Russia's full-scale aggression.

"We appreciate your effective, active, extremely important support for Ukraine. Support for our sovereignty and territorial integrity. We will never forget it," he said. The Head of the Office noted the hospitality and high level of organization of the President's visit to The Hague.

The Head of the President's Office also emphasized the leadership of the Netherlands in creating an aviation coalition, which became a reality as a result of the decisions reached during the participation of the Head of State in the G7 Summit in Hiroshima, and the readiness to implement the Peace Formula proposed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

A security briefing was held for the Dutch delegation. The Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands and his colleagues were informed in detail about the current challenges facing Ukraine due to the Russian invasion, the current situation at the front, the actions of the Russian occupiers, and Russia's ongoing missile attacks on civilian infrastructure and Ukrainian citizens.

The needs of Ukraine's defenders for the further effective confrontation with the enemy and the future steps to de-occupy Ukrainian territories were thoroughly outlined to the Dutch side. Particular attention was paid to discussing ways to accelerate the supply of defense assistance and prioritizing the needs of the Ukrainian army.
