Route 136 West Newton Street Single-Lane Restrictions in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that westbound single-lane restrictions on Route 136 (West Newton Street) are anticipated to begin next week between South Lincoln Avenue to South Hamilton Avenue in the City of Greensburg, Westmoreland County.

The single-lane restrictions will begin Monday, April 1 and are anticipated to remain in place until the beginning of May, depending on weather and operations.

The work is part of a $1.3 million bridge preservation project conducted by Mekis Construction Corporation.

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
