Calling all volunteers! Help us clean the waterways around the Clear Creek Nature Center in partnership with the Keep Texas Waterways Clean program.
When: Saturday, May 11 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Where: Parking will be located at the League City Public Boat Ramp (1500 Egret Bay Blvd). The cleanup will take place at the Dr. Ned and Fay Dudney Clear Creek Nature Center (the section of the park located west of Egret Bay Boulevard). Volunteers will take a short 1/4 mile walk to the cleanup location from the designated parking area.
Who: Volunteers ages 10+ (limited to 80 people)
This event is part of the Keep League City Beautiful initiative. Keep League City Beautiful is a committee that seeks to improve League City through beautification, conservation, and the arts.
About the Cleanup
The Keep Texas Waterways Clean program provides support and supplies for waterway cleanups across the state of Texas. These events can take place in any waterways including oceans, rivers, lakes, streams, tributaries, bayous, and creeks.
