Dara Sheinfeld named “Accessible Justice Changemaker” by the DC Affordable Law Firm

Counsel and Head of Pro Bono Litigation Dara Sheinfeld has been named a "2024 Accessible Justice Changemaker" by the DC Affordable Law Firm (DCALF). Dara is recognized for her leadership in organizing Davis Polk's pro bono collaboration with DCALF's arm of the Family Law Assistance Network. Through this partnership, our lawyers in Washington DC and Bank of America's legal department (which was also honored as a "Changemaker" for this effort) provide free advice to low-income individuals in custody, child support and divorce cases heard in the Domestic Relations Branch of DC Superior Court. DCALF is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to deliver justice to low and modest-income DC residents who do not qualify for traditional sources of free civil legal services and cannot afford standard representation.

The award will be presented at the Celebration of Accessible Justice on June 26, 2024, in Washington DC.
