Bridie Duggan wins the 2024 Karen Schneider SMA Safer Sport Award

Congratulations to Bridie Duggan, winner of the Karen Schneider SMA Safer Sport Award that was presented at the 2024 Northern Territory Sports Awards on 20 April 2024. A well-deserving win for her outstanding achievements in basketball.

This award was created by SMA to celebrate Karen Schneider's contribution to sports and exercise physiotherapy in NT. The award was presented to a person or persons who have contributed to creating a safer sporting environment for their team, players or community.

Bridie has provided physiotherapy services from the U16 and U18 National Basketball Championships to the U17 Cricket Championships. She's been there every step of the way.

Bridie was recently invited back for a second year at the National Performance Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport. She continues to make her mark in the world of sports physiotherapy.

SMA would also like to congratulate all other winners from the night for their contributions to supporting sport in the NT community.
