CAL Monitoring Tropical Wave

Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) is monitoring the progression of the active tropical wave currently located over the South-Eastern Caribbean Sea as it relates to any potential impacts on the airline's flight operations early next week.

Due to the potential severe weather notification issued today for the Cayman Islands by the Cayman Islands National Weather Service (CINWS), Cayman Airways is offering a one-time change fee and fare difference waiver for passengers with existing tickets for travel to/from any CAL destination, including domestic routes, provided:

• Tickets were purchased on or before September 21, 2022
• Travel was scheduled to commence between September 23 - 26, 2022
• There is no change to the origin or destination
• Travel must be rebooked in the same cabin
• New flights must be booked by September 30, 2022
• All travel must be completed by December 15, 2022

No schedule changes for existing flights are anticipated at this time, but may become necessary depending on weather conditions. If it becomes necessary to cancel a flight, the airline will endeavor to operate a recovery flight when it is safe to do so.
