As the industry continues with plans to meet its Net Zero commitments, both the HGV and coach sectors.
However, a major issue preventing the reduction of CO2 emissions from lorries and coaches is lack of infrastructure - in particular, the energy infrastructure needed to power battery or hydrogen-powered vehicles.
To address this, the Department for Transport needs information from operators on the issues that prevent the infrastructure being put in place. This will then be used to produce an HGV and Coach Infrastructure Strategy plan next year.
To help us with our engagement with DfT, we are asking operators to answer the survey's 17 questions. All responses will be anonymous and treated in confidence.
We will then collate all the information received so that we can then take forward our conversations with DfT. We will, of course, let you know the results once the information has been collated and disseminated.
