Empowering Education: Introducing the WPB Mayor Education Partnership Grant
Bridging Communities, Building Futures for West Palm Beach Students

WEST PALM BEACH, FL - The City of West Palm Beach announces the launch of an innovative partnership grant called the WPB Mayor Education Partnership Grant. The WPB Mayor Education Partnership Grant aims to enhance educational outcomes for its students through local nonprofits.

Mayor Keith A. James and the WPB Education Advisory Committee have provided up to $4,000 in funding to interested elementary schools located within the City, enabling students to engage in enriching learning experiences in the fields of reading, math, science, and/or history in a practical, collaborative context with our local nonprofits. All West Palm Beach elementary schools have the opportunity to apply.

"This partnership is more than an investment in education; it's an investment in the future of our City," said Mayor Keith A. James. "Cultivating a brighter future starts with empowering our students today. Through this educational opportunity, we're bridging the gap between classrooms and communities, providing experiences that spark curiosity and foster lifelong learning. Together, we are helping to create a community of opportunity for all."

This innovative program underscores the City of West Palm Beach's commitment to education and ensures West Palm Beach students have access to high-quality educational opportunities outside of the traditional classroom setting. Through this grant, students will have an interactive and immersive experience as they learn from exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, and hands-on activities that align with the curriculum. These experiences may take place as in-school or out-of-school field trips and they allow students to explore local community resources that will leave lasting impressions, nurture a love of learning, and encourage personal growth.

The City of West Palm Beach believes investing in our students today will pave the way for a brighter and more innovative future for our City.
