Pipe Replacement Scheduled on Appleton Road in Franklin Township

King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacement is scheduled on Appleton Road in Franklin Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Wednesday, May 8, and Thursday, May 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Appleton Road will be closed and detoured between Route 896 (New London Road) and Walker Road. During the closure, motorists are directed to use the posted detour.

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
