Over the past year, City of Olympia staff and consultants have conducted an Urban Farm Park Feasibility Study to help Olympia explore municipal-driven access to agricultural lands and experiences. The Asian Pacific Islander Coalition of South Puget Sound is partnering with the City of Olympia and South Puget Sound Community College to host the second annual Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration on May 11 from 11 am to 4 pm at South Puget Sound Community College - Lacey campus. This is a free, family friendly event. We have a wonderful line up of 40+ performers, vendors, and activities including performances highlighting Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese, and Filipino cultures; tasty Korean, Hawaiian, and Micronesian cuisine; artisan made crafts and community educational resources.
