The Peninsula Tokyo announces the Opening of Zuicho, The Award-winning Restaurant’s First Venture in Tokyo
The Peninsula Tokyo proudly announces the opening of Zuicho, its first restaurant venture in Tokyo, on February 1, 2024. Located on the fourth floor of the hotel, Zuicho creates an immersive and interactive Japanese culinary experience paired with luxurious Japanese art and décor for the hotel's discerning guests. Operated by Wa Creations and led by Chef Inaba, Zuicho is famous for offering exclusive dining experiences. Zuicho at The Peninsula Tokyo is a sibling to the renowned Michelin-starred Zuicho in Hong Kong, in addition to Macau and Singapore.
Zuicho's expertly crafted Japanese dining experience is centered around refined "kappo" cuisine. Kappo, which translates as 'cut and to cook', defines a multi-course culinary journey while presenting an ever-evolving menu that captures the essence of Japan's changing seasons. Available for lunch and dinner, the omakase courses feature a series of carefully crafted and innovative sashimi and Japanese seasonal dishes that entice the senses with premium ingredients.
Located on the fourth floor of The Peninsula Tokyo, Zuicho seats a total of 20 guests, with eight seats at the main counter, six seats at a private dining counter, and six seats in a private dining room with a table. The elegant restaurant design embraces Japanese aesthetics and features handcrafted Hinoki counters and artworks by some of the country's greatest pottery masters.
Lunch is served from noon, and the restaurant offers two dinner seatings, from 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. For lunch, guests may choose from two courses - a tasting menu offered at JPY 25,300 and an omakase course at JPY 35,420. For dinner, two omakase courses are available - an omakase course at JPY 35,420 and a premium omakase course at JPY 48,070. All prices are inclusive of the 10% consumption tax and a 15% service charge. Zuicho will be closed every Wednesday, as well as on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
