Nain RCMP investigating arson of police vehicle

A marked RCMP police vehicle was found engulfed in flames at approximately 1:40 a.m. this morning, December 29, 2023. The vehicle was parked at a garage across from the Nain Detachment. The Nain Volunteer Fire Department attended and extinguished the flames. The police vehicle was completely destroyed by fire and the exterior of the garage incurred minor damage.
