  • Additional study room
  • 2,500 square foot addition
  • New carpet, paint, and shelving
  • New furniture and interactive elements in the children's area

During the closure, patrons will be able to utilize the Chesapeake CARES Center, located at 3940 Airline Blvd., Monday - Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. for the following library services:

  • Hold pick-up
  • Small browsable collection available for checkout
  • One weekly Storytime and drop-in children's activities
  • Summer Reading Logs
  • Computers, printer, scanner, and copier
