Boys and girls looking for ways to stay busy this summer have several day camp options for fun activities from June through August.

Monte Verde Park and Biscailuz Park

Lakewood's popular Summer Day Camp at Monte Verde Park returns in weekly segments, starting on June 10.

New this year, Biscailuz Park hosts a Bilingual Spanish-English Summer Day Camp, starting June 17.

Special topic day camps

Kids looking for special topic camps can find those at parks and locations around Lakewood beginning the week of June 17, including:

Sports camps

• San Martin Park: Soccer, basketball, flag football and golf
• Mayfair Park: Tennis
• Lakewood Youth Center: Smart Fit Girls Camp
• The Rinks Lakewood: Stay Cool Ice Skating Camp

STEM camps

• Bloomfield Park: Mad Science - Crazy Chemworks, Galaxy Defenders or Secret Agent Lab.

Art and Dance camps

• The Centre: Kids Summer Art Camp
• Kick It Up: Summer Dance Camp, Superhero Dance Camp
