Lesbian Visibility Week (22-28th April) is a global campaign that aims to build public understanding of LGBTQIA+ women and non binary people's lives, increase lesbian visibility and create a legacy that benefits our community everywhere.
This year, Lesbian Visibility Week is focused on celebrating the power of sisterhood by uplifting incredible LGBTQIA women and non-binary people from every generation, in every field and in every country around the world. Working with our international charity partners ILGA World, EL*C, GLAAD and Curve as well as LGBT Foundation in the UK we have built a week long programme of events, campaign actions and social activations that bring the Lesbian Visibility Week message to the widest ever audience.
Our LSEG Market Close featured a performance by the West End star Elisha Paul Moses, followed by a panel featuring outstanding LGBTQIA+ women and non binary leaders discussing generational change in the workplace experience of LGBTQIA+ people, and the barriers that remain to those seeking to step into authentic leadership. Being able to bring the message of Lesbian Visibility Week to the heart of the global financial system sends a powerful message about the central role that our communities play in businesses all over the world.
