ASUS Celebrates 35th Anniversary with Family Sports Day

TAIPEI, Taiwan, May 4th, 2024 - ASUS today announced that, in celebration of its 35th anniversary, the company held a grand Family Sports Day under the theme "Wiser Together" at the National Taipei University Stadium. Nearly 10,000 employees and their families joined in on the festivities.

"As we celebrate our 35th anniversary, I would like to express my most sincere appreciation to all of you who are part of the ASUS family," said Chairman Shih during the opening ceremony. "I urge everyone at ASUS to embrace idea meritocracy and foster collective wisdom amidst this AI revolution so that together we can transform ASUS into a comprehensive AI company and become the world's most admired innovative leading technology enterprise in the new digital era."

The ASUS 35th Anniversary Family Sports Day held exciting competitions including inflatable games like the "Wipeout Eliminator" and "Hippo Chow Down", as well as a multi-legged race. Through these diverse and fun competitions, ASUS hopes to unite all employees and enable them to embody the spirit of "Wiser Together", leading ASUS to become the world's most admired innovative leading technology enterprise in the new digital era.

ASUS upholds the business philosophy of nurturing, cherishing, and caring for its employees. Apart from organizing various entertaining competitions for its employees, ASUS also arranged special areas for children of different ages, including "Little Baby," "Toddler Baby," and "Parent-Child Challenge", allowing families to share joyous moments together. Furthermore, over 80 food stalls were set up around the sports field, providing adults and children with the opportunity to enjoy delicious food after working up a sweat. To conclude the event, "King of Love Songs" Andrew Tan took to the stage as the grand finale, performing classic hit songs like "Queen" and "Be Necessary," ending the event on a high note with his passionate and powerful vocals.
