Investigators Seek Information in Stark County Fire

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Division of State Fire Marshal's Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau is seeking tips from the public regarding an intentionally set fire in Plain Township (Stark County).

On Apr. 10 at approximately 1:43 a.m., the Plain Township Fire Department was dispatched to the residence located at 2926 Harrisburg Ave. NE, in Plain Township for a reported structure fire. The subsequent investigation with State Fire Marshal investigators ruled the fire's cause as arson.

A reward of $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this fire. Anyone who has information should contact the State Fire Marshal's tip line at 800-589-2728.
