The Golden Gate Bridge will have overnight lane closures during the week to allow for Suicide Deterrent System construction. Drivers should expect to slow down around construction areas and may experience minor traffic delays during construction hours.
Please note: When the overnight lane configuration is set to one northbound and two southbound lanes, pedestrian access to the east sidewalk will CLOSE one hour earlier-at 8:00 p.m. during Pacific Daylight Time.
Overnight Monday, December 11, the GGB roadway will have 2SB and 1 NBlanes open from 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (Tuesday morning).
Overnight Tuesday, December 5, the GGB roadway will have1 SB and 2 NBlanes open from 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (Wednesday morning).
Overnight Wednesday, December 6, the GGB roadway will have 1SB and 2 NBlanes open from 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (Thursday morning).
Overnight Thursday, December 7, the GGB roadway will have 1SB and 2 NBlanes open from 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (Friday morning).
Overnight Friday, December 8, the GGB roadway will have 1SB and 2 NBlanes open from 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (Saturday morning).
Please also note that the Sergeants' Office will close the West Sidewalk to bicyclists by 6:30 p.m. for the overnight lane closures.
