Earth to….

It's April and do you know what that means; spring has sprung, the weather is slightly more tolerable than it has been since September, and tax season is behind us. More than that, it's gardening season. Flowers are blooming, we've been weeding, planting, fertilizing, and all that other good stuff. April 22nd is also Earth Day and a chance for us to think about how we can make the planet a greener and better place. In order to get us entrenched in our gardening and conservation eras here are a few books to help out.

  • 50 Beautiful Deer Resistant Plants by Ruth Rogers Clausen
  • What's Wrong with My Houseplant? By David Deardorff
  • Beginner Gardening Step by Step edited by DK Publishing
  • Gardening in the Pacific Northwest by Paul Bonine
  • The Color of Roses by Danielle Dall'Armi Hahn
  • Living with Wildlife in the Pacific Northwest by Russell Link
  • Return of the Bison by Roger L. Di Silverstro
  • Mystical Mushrooms by Aurora Kane
  • Tree Thieves by Lyndsie Bourgon
  • We are the Middle of Forever by Dahr Jamail
  • Gator Country by Rebecca Renner
  • Dahlias: Seed to Bloom by Kristine Albrecht
