Mattel Named to Fast Company’s List of the 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators

By Richard Dickson, President and Chief Operating Officer

Today, Mattel is being recognized as one of Fast Company's 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators, a distinction we share this year with companies like Moderna, Walt Disney Imagineering and Adobe, and one we are very proud of.

This year's honor, developed by Fast Company in partnership with Accenture, celebrates 100 organizations from a variety of industries, including computer science, biotech, consumer packaged goods, nonprofit, education, financial services, cybersecurity, and engineering that found innovative ways to collaborate and create, despite the extraordinary challenges of the pandemic.

Innovation at every level has been a hallmark of Mattel since its founding more than 75 years ago. Over the years, Mattel's unique, design-led culture that recognizes great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, has created both pop culture hits and cultivated a deep and meaningful commitment to purposeful play.

Last year was an especially important demonstration of this. As a leading global toy company, Mattel creates innovative products and experiences that inspire, entertain and develop children through play. Our products make a real difference for kids and families everywhere, empowering the next generation to explore the wonder of childhood and reach their full potential. And this special distinction from Fast Company is a particularly meaningful recognition of the hard work and incredible achievements of the entire organization. Congratulations to everyone at Mattel.
