Women Leadership Club in Parliament

On May 7, the Deputy Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs Heriknaz Tigranyan met with the Women Leadership Club functioning in Vayots Dzor at the initiative of Sose Women's Issues NGO.

The representative of the NGO informed that the organization functions in Goris, cooperating with the NGOs of other regions. The organization implemented a number of programmes in the communities, trying to make women's role key in the social-political life.

Heriknaz Tigranyan, welcoming the guests in the parliament on a cognitive visit, highlighted the women's role in the processes of the community management, presented the activity of the parliament and the process of making laws.

The deputy answered the questions too which referred to the social guarantees of the community workers, the activity of the mines in Vayots Dzor, the absence of the inter-community transport and the closure of the libraries.

The guests visited the library of the parliament, the museum, got acquainted with the presented exhibits and souvenirs.
