A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of energy transition was signed by Maire Tecnimont

Within the Baku Energy Week, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of energy transition was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Maire Tecnimont. The document was signed by Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov and Alessandro Bernini, Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer of the company.

The purpose of the memorandum is to strengthen cooperation between the parties on energy issues, including renewable energy, the green energy transition and energy efficiency. The document also includes exploring opportunities for cooperation in areas such as low-carbon technologies, energy production from waste, green hydrogen, biofuels, as well as reducing methane emissions.
