In the Astrakhan region, at the Ashuluk training ground, combat crews of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun system of the Leningrad Air Force and Air Defence Formation hit targets imitating the equipment and manpower of mock enemy.
The convoy of military vehicles made a march, during which they overcame sections of rugged and contaminated terrain, and the crews of the ground guard and defence repelled the attack of the reconnaissance and sabotage group.
The combat crews of the Pantsir-S air defence missile system ensured control of the airspace in the area of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system and completed the tasks of detecting, tracking, initializing and destroying air and ground targets using anti-aircraft guided missiles and 30-mm anti-aircraft guns.
Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun system is intended for short-range cover at ranges from 200 meters to 20 km of civil and military objects, including long-range air defence systems, such as the S-300 Favorit and S-400 Triumph from all modern and advanced air attack weapons.
