The agenda of the trip is marked by bilateral meetings and with businessmen

The Secretary of State for International Trade and Foreign Investment (SSITFI), Bernardo Ivo Cruz, will travel to East Timor, Indonesia and Singapore for a set of initiatives that include, among others, political meetings and meetings with companies.

The visit started this Sunday, in East Timor, with a meeting with the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and with the representative of the United Nations Development Programme. In Dili, the SSITFI will also participate in the opening ceremony of the Living Memory Gallery, invited by the President of the Republic of East Timor, José Ramos Horta. The Secretary of State also has scheduled meetings at the Timorese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and at the East Timor Women's Association.

In Indonesia, on Thursday, the SSITFI will meet with the Indonesian Ministers of Investment and Trade, as well as with the head of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is also planned a meeting with representatives of the Portuguese companies Vision Box and ChargR.

On Friday, in Singapore, Secretary of State Bernardo Ivo Cruz has scheduled a meeting with companies and startups from different sectors, organized by Enterprise Singapore, whose mission is to support the internationalization of Singaporean SMEs. The SSITFI will also meet with the CEO of the Singapore Food Agency, in order to accelerate the accreditation processes for the import of Portuguese pork and pork products, as well as beef and poultry.

The agenda in Singapore also includes a meeting with the CEO of Vertex Holdings, a financial company with which future work is expected, particularly in the areas of agricultural technology and renewable energy in Portugal. The SSITFI will also meet with the CEO of EDP-R APAC, the largest Portuguese investment in Singapore, being this one of the main investments of Portuguese companies in Asia.

On the same day, Secretary of State Bernardo Ivo Cruz will meet with Singapore's Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry and with the Portuguese community living in the city.
