Members of Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between RA NA and RF FA Visit Basic School No. 192 in Yerevan

On March 16, the RA NA Vice President, the Co-Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the RA National Assembly and the RF Federal Assembly Hakob Arshakyan and the Deputy Speakerof the RFFAFederation Council, the Co-Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission Yuri Vorobyov, together with the Commission members, visited Gevorg Vardanyan Basic School No. 192in Yerevan.

In the presence of the guests, the classroom of engineering laboratories has beenopened in a solemn atmosphere, which is replenishedwith engineering educational and necessary equipment of Armenian production, meeting the highest international standards.

On Hakob Arshakyan'sinitiative, computers were purchased for the school with the funds of the expert council members of the Armenian side of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission, as well as a school classroom was renovated.

Alarge quantity of Russian textbooks was handed over to the Russian-language classes of the school with the support of Russian colleagues.

The NA Vice PresidentHakob Arshakyan expressed convictionthat such initiatives are another proof of effective bilateral cooperation.

In the school hall after watching the event symbolizing the Armenian-Russian centuries-old friendship Hakob Arshakyan and Yuri Vorobyovonce again recorded that the historical-cultural ties between the Armenian and Russian peoples are undeniable and documented with joy that the new generation is the bearer of those values.

The persons who actively participated in the organizational activities of the 36th meetingof the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the RA National Assembly and the RF Federal Assembly were encouraged with the NAsymbol, a bronze commemorative medal.
