Telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorable Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The heads of the two states discussed the situation related to spring floods in a number of regions of Kazakhstan.

Our Head of state expressed our support for the brotherly people of Kazakhstan in connection with large-scale floods in that country.

The Leader of the Nation, recalling the necessary effective and timely measures of the Government of Kazakhstan to prevent the spread and reduce the consequences of the natural disaster, expressed confidence that its consequences will be eliminated in a short time.

In this regard, the President of Tajikistan emphasized that he has already tasked the Government of the country to immediately prepare humanitarian aid consisting of food and basic necessities to be sent to the affected regions of Kazakhstan.

In the continuation of the conversation, the heads of states discussed the issues related to the cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan and emphasized the determination of the parties to continue the close cooperation between the two countries in various forms.

During the conversation, there was an exchange of views on the program of upcoming meetings at the bilateral and multilateral levels.
