Abazović meets MEP Bilčik

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović spoke with Member of the European Parliament Vladimír Bilčík, who is paying a visit to Montenegro.

Discussing the current political situation in the country, Prime Minister Abazović emphasised that the election of Constitutional Court judges in the Parliament at the end of November would create conditions for the smooth functioning of institutions, after which all political actors would be able to request constitutional review of any legal act. The Prime Minister called on all political subjects to support the judicial appointments.

MEP Bilčík pointed out that dialogue and compromise of all political entities are necessary, and that the European Parliament will provide support in promoting dialogue within the country.

MEP Christian Sagartz and Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro Oana Cristina Popa also attended the meeting.
