Born in 1993, Domenico Mottola studied guitar and graduated with honours and special mention at the A. Vivaldi Conservatory of Alessandria. During his career, he has been awarded prizes in over 30 international competitions, including First Prize at the Niccolò Paganini International Guitar Competition in Parma and First Prize at the 18th International Guitar Competition in Comarca el Condado (Andalusia).

He won the Golden Guitar as a young promise in 2018 and as revelation of the year in 2020 at the International Guitar Convention in Milan and Alessandria. His first album Sueño was released in July 2020 and distributed by Contrastes Records.
