Temporary Road Closure Scheduled for Elbow Road June 4

​Due to guardrail maintenance by Virginia Beach Public Works, Elbow Road between Round Hill Drive and Salem Road will be temporarily closed Sunday, June 4. Weather permitting, work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

During this time, Elbow Road will be closed to through traffic between Round Hill Drive and Walpole Street. Through traffic will be detoured via Round Hill Drive, S. Independence Boulevard, and Salem Road. Advanced warning and detour signs will be posted advising motorist of the alternate route.
