Sidley Guides Athene in US$11 Billion Merger With Apollo
Sidley is representing Athene Holding in connection with its proposed merger with Apollo Global Management in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately US$11 billion.
The parties expect that the transaction will allow Athene to rapidly scale asset and liability origination, broaden distribution channels, and act as a leading global solutions provider. The transaction demonstrates Sidley's continued leadership in advising on the insurance and financial services industry's most complex, innovative, and important transactions.
